Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive a little earlier, you’re very welcome to leave your bags with us — grab a coffee, enjoy lunch or a light bite in our all-day bistro, or head out to explore the neighbourhood while you wait. Once your room is ready, we’ll take care of your bags and have them waiting in your room for you.
Check-out is by 11am.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability on the day, so while we can’t always guarantee them, just let the team know your plans and we’ll always do our best to help.
If you’d like a little extra time to relax or explore, late check-out may be available for £20 per hour, subject to availability. Some direct booking rates include a complimentary late check-out until 12 midday — this will be clearly shown when you book and confirmed in your booking email.

Our rooms are designed to feel comfortable, relaxed and thoughtfully put together — the kind of place you can properly settle into.
Each room includes complimentary tea and coffee, a pod coffee machine using locally roasted Grind coffee and fresh milk kept in the fridge, along with a thoughtfully stocked minibar featuring local and artisanal snacks and drinks. You’ll also find complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a Smart TV with streaming capabilities, an in-room phone, a Roberts radio, a hairdryer and luxury bath and body products in every bathroom. Oat or soy milk is available on request, and irons and ironing boards can be provided if needed.
Beds are made up with crisp Egyptian cotton linen, with fluffy towels and bath robes ready for your stay. We use feather pillows and duvets as standard, with non-allergenic bedding available on request.
As with all Artist Residence houses, rooms vary slightly in size and layout — part of the charm of staying in a characterful historic townhouse, each with its own personality.

Breakfast is served daily for both hotel guests and non-residents in our light, airy all-day bistro, with great coffee and freshly prepared favourites. Breakfast isn’t usually included unless your room rate states otherwise — any inclusions will be clearly shown when you book.
Food and drink at Artist Residence London centres around The Cambridge Street, our all-day café, restaurant and bar on the ground floor, serving seasonal dishes cooked with care from breakfast through to supper. There’s also a small terrace out front when the weather allows.
In the evenings, our cocktail bar offers a more intimate spot for relaxed drinks, while the Club Room and private dining space are available for smaller gatherings and special occasions.
Walk-ins are always welcome, though we recommend booking ahead for evenings, weekends and busier periods. Menus, opening times and table availability can be found online.
If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know in advance or speak to the team when you arrive and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Fresh dairy milk is stocked in rooms as standard, with oat or soy milk available on request.

Artist Residence London is tucked away in Pimlico, a peaceful yet central neighbourhood, just moments from Victoria, Belgravia and Sloane Square. It’s an ideal base for exploring the city, with much of London — from riverside walks and galleries to shops, cafés and theatres — easily reached on foot or by public transport.
We’re around a 10-minute walk from Victoria and Pimlico Underground stations, with Sloane Square approximately 15 minutes away. Victoria Station also offers mainline rail services and Gatwick Express connections, making arrival straightforward from across the UK and abroad.
We don’t have on-site parking, but Q-Park on Cumberland Street is just a three-minute walk away and costs around £27 per 24 hours. Guests receive a 20% discount — simply use the code ARTIST20 when booking online, or collect a discount ticket from reception during your stay. You’re very welcome to pull up briefly outside the hotel to drop off luggage before parking.
If you’re travelling further afield or heading out in the evening, black cabs are easy to find across London. Addison Lee can be booked online for pre-arranged taxis, and ride-hailing services such as Uber operate widely. Our team is always happy to help with directions or arrange transport if needed.
-
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. If you need any help getting connected, just let the team know and we’ll be happy to help.
Our team is always on hand and glad to assist — whether you need extra pillows, restaurant recommendations, directions around the city, or anything else to make your stay more comfortable. Food from our all-day bistro can be brought to your room during kitchen opening hours, and drinks are available at any time if you’d prefer to enjoy them from the comfort of your room.
Bedrooms are serviced daily. If you’d prefer privacy or don’t need housekeeping during your stay, simply let us know.
We kindly ask guests to be considerate of others, particularly in the evenings. Smoking and vaping aren’t permitted inside the hotel or bedrooms; if you do need to smoke, please do so outside.
Guests are welcome to use laptops in our shared spaces during the day. From 6pm onwards, we encourage guests to put laptops away so the spaces can feel relaxed and sociable for everyone. For the comfort of all our guests, video calls aren’t permitted in public areas, though private meeting spaces are available if you need to take a call — just ask the team.
We also ask guests to be mindful of noise later in the evening, so everyone can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Artist Residence London in selected rooms.
Our dog-friendly rooms include Small rooms, Medium rooms, the Club Suite and the Grand Suite. Small rooms are best suited to smaller dogs and can accommodate one dog. Medium rooms can also accommodate one dog and offer a little more space. The Club Suite can accommodate up to two medium-sized dogs, while the Grand Suite is our most generous option and can accommodate up to three small dogs or two medium-sized dogs.
There’s a charge of £20 per dog, per night, which includes a comfy dog bed, bowls and treats to help them settle in.
Dogs are welcome across all of our shared spaces, including the all-day bistro, the Club Room and the cocktail bar. We ask that they’re kept on a lead and supervised at all times, and kindly ask that they aren’t left unattended in bedrooms.
When booking online, please add a note to let us know you’re bringing your dog. Sharing their name and size helps us prepare everything just right. If you’re unsure which room to choose, we’re always happy to help.

Children are very welcome at Artist Residence London, and we have a small number of rooms that can work well for family stays, depending on the age of your child and how you’d like the room arranged. If you’re unsure what will suit you best, we’re always happy to help advise.
Complimentary cots are available in selected room types, subject to availability and advance request. These can be accommodated in Medium rooms, The Loft, the Club Suite and the Grand Suite.
If your child needs their own sleeping space, fold-up extra beds can be arranged in the Grand Suite and Club Suite for £50 per night, subject to availability. In the Club Suite, the generously sized sofa can also be made up as a bed for a child for £40 per night. Extra beds aren’t available in other room types.
Our all-day café, restaurant and bar are relaxed and welcoming for families, though they can feel livelier in the evenings, particularly at weekends. High chairs are available, and we offer a children’s menu for younger guests.
As a historic townhouse with rooms spread across different floors, some layouts naturally work better for families than others. If you’re travelling with children, we recommend getting in touch before booking so we can help you choose the most comfortable set-up for your stay.

Artist Residence London is set within a historic townhouse, full of character and original features.
The hotel does not have a lift, and guest bedrooms are spread across three floors above the ground floor. The main staircase is wide, with some narrower corridors connecting different parts of the building, including between the hotel and the café, restaurant and bar spaces.
Our all-day café, restaurant and bar The Cambridge Street are located on the ground floor, with the cocktail bar, Club Room and private dining space on the lower ground floor. An accessible WC is available on the ground floor, with additional facilities on the lower ground floor.
Our team is always happy to help with luggage on arrival and departure. The building is well sound-proofed between public spaces and bedrooms, though you may occasionally notice light movement as guests come and go — part of the character of an older house.
If you have any accessibility requirements or questions, we strongly recommend getting in touch before booking so we can advise on the most suitable room for your stay.

Artist Residence London is set within a historic townhouse, full of character and period features, and thoughtfully updated to balance charm with comfort.
Bedrooms are air conditioned and fitted with double-glazed windows, and the building is well soundproofed between public spaces and guest rooms. Most guests find the hotel very quiet at night, particularly once evening service winds down.
That said, as with any older house in a lively city, you may occasionally notice gentle background sounds from corridors or neighbouring rooms, especially at busier times.
If you’re a light sleeper or have any particular preferences, you’re very welcome to let us know when booking. We’ll always do our best to advise on and allocate the most suitable room within your chosen category.

King’s Road is around a 15-minute walk, offering cafés, boutiques and galleries, and Soho is just two stops away on the Underground for theatres, nightlife and late dinners.
It’s a wonderfully walkable base — characterful on your doorstep, with the best of London easy to reach beyond it. If you’d like recommendations tailored to your interests or the time you have, just ask — we’re always happy to help.
